The Longest Day – fundraising event at the Water Mill Bridge club.
On Wednesday, June 19th, during the week of the summer solstice, the Water Mill Bridge Club will be participating in ‘THE LONGEST DAY”, a day put aside by our bridge players to donate money, time, and brain-power to support the Alzheimer’s Association
The WMBC has many teams of four to six players, and room for many more, who will participate in an “Open Game” in the morning and “Swiss Teams” in the afternoon, playing all day long to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association. There are 47 million people, including caregivers, worldwide, living with Alzheimer’s disease. When you sponsor a team – in any amount, large or small – you will be contributing directly to the Alzheimer’s Association for care, support and research programs to end this devastating disease which affects us all.
Alzheimer’s disease is a growing health crisis and the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death. Additionally, more than 15 million family and friends provide care to people with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. The Alzheimer’s Association is determined to create a world eliminating this disease and we would be honored to have your donation and support for “THE LONGEST DAY” at the WMBC.
Please send your donation to the Water Mill Bridge Club, 789 Hill Street, Southampton, NY 11968. Make checks payable to the Alzheimer’s Association, c/o WMBC. Your donation is tax deductible and 100% goes directly to the Association.
